Ben Giroux to Guest Star in new Disney sitcom “Pair of Kings”

Ben Giroux has just filmed a new Disney sitcom, Pair of Kings, with Mitchel Musso (Hannah Montana) and Doc Shaw (The Suite Life on Deck, Tyler Perry’s House of Payne). Giroux will guest star on the series, which should air in the fall of 2010 on Disney XD.

Ben Giroux has just booked a series of national seasonal on-camera commercials for the Build-A-Bear company. Build-A-Bear is an American retailer that sells customizable teddy bears and other stuffed animals.

Giroux will be playing a bitter Christmas Elf in each of Build-A-Bear’s 2009 holiday spots. The multiple commercials shoot next week in Los Angeles.

Giroux producing and starring in “SCHOOL FOR SUCKERS” at the Lillian Theatre in Hollywood

Ben Giroux is producing and starring in a new, original piece of theatre, SCHOOL FOR SUCKERS.

Featuring witty original comedy that will make you pee your pants, and heartfelt moments sure to give you goosebumps, SCHOOL FOR SUCKERS is a unique theatre experience that follows five twenty-somethings who just got sucker-punched by real life.

The show opens August 25th at the famed Lillian Theatre in Hollywood (1076 Lillian Way), and runs every Tuesday and Wednesday at 8 PM for six weeks, closing on September 30th.

Giroux wrote the show with fellow actors Juliana Tyson, John Dardenne, James Robinson, and Sascha Alexander. Elissa Weinzimmer is directing.

The Endeavor Agency now represents Ben Giroux and his production company, Oh Wow Productions, for TV Packaging.

The team is currently pitching Giroux’s television series, Ben and Burman, to networks with Grand Productions, the production company behind TNT’s Emmy-Nominated Saving Grace.

“QT” is Official Selection in LA Comedy Shorts Festival and Beverly Hills Film Festival

The Lost Archives of Quincy Taylor, a MySpace TV and RDF Media short film, is now an official selection of the LA Comedy Shorts Festival and the Beverly Hills Film Festival for 2009. Giroux stars in the film as the bad-ass 1970’s ninja-fighting detective, Quincy Taylor, playing opposite of Sacheen Padilla, Andre Ware, and Paul Vroom.

The film is produced by Stephan Bataillard and directed by Jay Torres (Desperate Housewives).
